Cooler temperatures have helped to bring Yakima River flow levels back up resulting in more water available to the Kennewick Irrigation District. Water levels will continue to fluctuate throughout the water season and when additional water supplies become available, Kennewick Irrigation District will deliver this water to its customers.

Effective immediately, K.I.D. customers may return to watering up to 30 minutes per zone according to their assigned days and times.

The District will be contacting Water Masters directly regarding agricultural and large parcel lots over 3 acres.

High efficiency devices: micro-spray, soaker hoses, and drip lines, as well as hand watering will continued to be allowed for the watering of trees, shrubs, perennials, and gardens.

These watering guidelines will remain in effect until further notice.
