KID would like to let our customers know that beginning Monday, October 3, 2016 KID crews will begin working to repair a leak that was recently discovered. Work will begin by 7:30 a.m. east of Edison Street. Traffic alterations will be required during construction. Crews will close the right turn lane, which turns north onto Edison Street. Traffic will have the ability to turn right at the stop sign. We apologize for the inconvenience, the closure is necessary in order to make repairs.
During repair work, some customers being served off of the West Metaline valve will experience a temporary service outage. The estimated time of outage has not yet been established.
Please note, actual areas impacted cannot not be reflected on the Water Status Map until service has been shut off and should be visible on the map by 8 a.m. October 3, 2016.
