The Kennewick Irrigation District (KID) Board of Directors is seeking applicants for two vacant positions to serve on the Implementation Committee.
The main function of the Committee is to serve as an advisory body to the Board of Directors for examining and formulating recommendations regarding issues such as policy and project implementation.
The Board of Directors has established a five member Implementation Committee that builds on and replaces the Planning Committee. The proposed resolution requires that membership on the Committee represent a diverse array of water users and not be tilted toward any one type of water user (e.g. urban, rural or farm). Currently there are openings for representation in the Agricultural and Urban categories. Applicants must be KID rate payers and be available to commit to at least a 2-year term.

Submit completed application form and a letter of interest detailing your qualifications in your designated category and your interest in the Committee to the KID Administrative Office located at 12 W. Kennewick Avenue, Kennewick, WA 99336. The deadline for application submission is Monday, January 5, 2015.
The Board of Director’s will review applications and interview finalists for appointment by the Board, which is anticipated to take place by the end of January.
