During Monday’s Board Meeting, Raman Venkata was declared elected to the Kennewick Irrigation District Director Position 2. The one year term will begin on January 2nd, when he will be sworn in during KID’s regularly scheduled board meeting at 9:00am. Raman Venkata will be replacing Jim Holmes on the Board.
David McKenzie was declared for a three year term for KID Director Position 3 on November 7, by virtue of being unopposed for the seat as of the statutory filing deadline. In such situations, state law instructs the Irrigation Board of Directors to declare that candidate elected (RCW 87.03.075).
