The Kennewick Irrigation District is scheduled to shut down a portion of the Badger East canal in order to replace a culvert pipe crossing at Arena Road. The affected area is west of Interstate 1-182. Deliveries upstream of I-182 will not be affected. Shut down of this section of the canal will begin on Thursday, June 7, 2012 and full irrigation water service will be resumed to this canal section no later than Tuesday, June 12, 2012.
